The philosophy of the eternal
Designer Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, grandson of the legendary technical constructor, began his career in the family company located in Stuttgart (Germany) where he produced his most well-known creation in the 60s - a classic that became an icon for future generations. His philosophy in the field of design consists of translating functional principles into simple, clear shapes that stand the test of time. In his opinion, a good design is based on the following criteria:
- the main function
- the shapes resulting from the function
- a careful selection of appropriate materials
- a kind of manufacturing that fuses craftsmanship with advanced technology
In 1974 he moved to Austria and founded his own studio. Since then he has been involved in creating designs for many types of products, among which there are many whose applications have been given clear, simple lines that fully satisfy tastes and demands. All products designed by F. A. Porsche have a character of their own. It is the stamp of his unmistakable quality in the field of design.
